About Me

Dr. Shailendra Bajpai is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Chief Warden at Dr. B R Ambedker National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar.

He has 23 years of teaching experience involving both graduate and post graduate courses.He has earlier assumed various important portfolios of the Institute including Head Department of Chemical engineering, Associate Dean Faculty welfare, Warden hostel no. 4, Nodal Officer (Academic) TEQIP-II, Nodal Officer (Procurement) TEQIP-III, Local Coordinator, GIAN & CEP Cell, Coordinator Yoga, etc.

He has authored six books and more than 60 research publication in International/national journals of repute and conference proceedings. He is Reviewer of many International Journals such as Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Loss Prevention in Process Industries (Elsevier), Journal of Hazardous Materials (Elsevier), Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, International Journal of decision making, etc.

He is Life Member, Indian Institute of Chemical Engineer, Kolkata and honorary secretary of Doaba Regional Centre, IICHE.He is acting as editorial board member in the Journal of integrated safety and Science published by TuDelft University, Netherlands.He is also acting as Guest editor in a special issues of “Journal of loss prevention in process industry” published by Elsevier and “Environmental Science and Pollution Research” published by Springer. His Research interests include Waste water treatment, Chemical Process Safety, Membrane separation process, Risk assessment of intentional threats, etc.
